The certificate and the tag share a record, so what is on the scaffold and what is in the system say the same thing.
One record, two places it is read
A handover certificate in a folder and a tag on the scaffold are the same claim made twice, and the moment they are kept separately they start to disagree. Raising the certificate from the design and driving the tag status from the same record means the answer on the scaffold is the answer in the office.
Signed where the work happened
A signature collected on site at handover, with the date and the load class the structure was handed over at, is worth more than one chased afterwards — both as a record and as the thing that settles an argument about what was agreed.
