Built so a Contracts Manager can see which scaffolds are due an inspection this week. Not ring round three sites to find out.
The ScaffoldOptix team
Platform
One record, nine modules. Model it once and the design, the handover and the inspection all read from the same structure. No copying between systems, no drawing that is slightly out of date.
Model it before you load the wagon. Build the scaffold in 3D, check the bay lengths and tie pattern as you go, and send the squad out with a drawing rather than a description.
3D Builder
Model the scaffold before anyone leaves the yard.
Drag standards, ledgers and transoms into place on a 3D model of the job
Bay lengths, lift heights and tie patterns checked as you build
Design drawings and elevations exported straight from the model
Compliance Sheets
Say which design the scaffold was built to, and prove it.
Record the TG20 compliance sheet or bespoke design behind every structure
Flag structures that fall outside compliant configurations for design sign-off
Load class, cladding and duty held against the structure, not in an inbox
Every contract, every squad, one screen. Contracts, structures and the schedule share a record, so an off-hire date shows up everywhere it matters without being typed twice.
Contracts
A live register of every job on the books.
Client, site address, structures and hire period in one place
On-hire, off-hire and dismantle dates tracked against each contract
Role-based visibility, so squads only see the jobs they work on
Scheduling
Put the right squad on the right job.
Squad and vehicle scheduling without a whiteboard in the yard
Erect, adapt, inspect and dismantle visits on one calendar
Clashes and unassigned visits surfaced before the week starts
Handovers and inspections that stay current. The certificate, the tag and the seven-day inspection all hang off the same structure — so what is on the scaffold and what is in the system agree.
Handovers & Tags
The handover certificate and the tag agree, because they share a record.
Handover certificates raised from the design, signed on site
Scafftag status per structure — do not use, incomplete, safe to use
Client signature, date and load class captured at handover
Inspections
Seven-day inspections that actually get recorded.
Next inspection date tracked per structure, with the reminder before it falls due
Inspection reports completed on site, with photographs attached
Post-alteration and post-weather inspections logged against the same structure
Adaptations
Every change to a structure, on the record.
Variations and adaptations logged against the original design
Unauthorised alterations flagged at the next inspection
A history of what the scaffold looked like on any given date
Nobody on a lift without the card. CISRS cards, medicals and training tracked against each operative, with the alert raised before the expiry, not after.
Operatives & Cards
Nobody on a lift without the card to be there.
CISRS card type and expiry tracked against each operative
Alerts before a card, medical or training certificate lapses
Squad make-up recorded on every visit, so you know who built what
Ready for the question before it is asked. Overdue inspections, expiring cards and client reports built from what squads already entered — nothing re-keyed on the day.
Reports
Everything a client or an inspector asks for, ready to export.
Inspection and handover roll-ups across every contract
Overdue inspections and expiring cards in one view
Built from the same records squads already enter — nothing re-keyed
Why switch
Stop running the yard on CAD files, a whiteboard and a folder of tags. The gaps that cause missed inspections, stale drawings and tags nobody updated — closed.
Today, without a system
With ScaffoldOptix
Today, without a system
Designs drawn up in CAD by one person, and nowhere near the job when it changes
With ScaffoldOptix
Every structure modelled in 3D, with the drawing on the phone of the squad building it
Today, without a system
Handover certificates in a folder, scafftags on the scaffold, and no way to tell if they agree
With ScaffoldOptix
Tag status and handover certificate hang off the same structure record
Today, without a system
Seven-day inspections remembered by whoever happens to be on site
With ScaffoldOptix
Next inspection date tracked per structure, with the reminder before it falls due
Today, without a system
Adaptations done on the nod, with the original design left as the only record
With ScaffoldOptix
Every adaptation logged against the design, so the history is the structure's own
Today, without a system
CISRS cards tracked in a spreadsheet — until one expires mid-contract
With ScaffoldOptix
Card and medical expiry tracked per operative, with alerts before they lapse
How it works
From kick-off to live, in four steps. We handle the rollout so your team can focus on the jobs, not the setup.
01
Kick-off
We walk through the rollout plan together, so your team knows exactly what to expect and when.
02
Discovery
We look at your live contracts, your current drawings and records, and how the yard actually runs, so the platform is set up to match it.
03
Configure
We set up your contracts, squads, roles and permissions, and load your standard scaffold configurations, so it is ready from day one.
04
Train & deploy
We train your team, run final readiness checks, and support you through your first weeks live.
Built the right way
Built around what TG20 and SG4 actually require. Designed around TG20 and SG4, and the records a client or an inspector actually asks to see.
Built around TG20 and SG4
Structures recorded against the compliance sheet or bespoke design they were built to.
Seven-day inspections, tracked
Inspection records structured around what a client or an inspector actually asks to see.
GDPR-conscious by design
Role-based access keeps operative records need-to-know, not open to the whole yard.
Role-based access, built in
From Scaffolder to Contracts Manager — permissions that match how a firm is actually run.
Pricing
One licence. Room to grow. One licence per company, billed annually. No per-user pricing, ever — priced around the size of your operation, not your headcount.
ScaffoldOptix License
£3,495
/ year
Includes up to 25 active contracts. £95 per additional contract / year after that.
No catch. No per-user pricing, no cut-down starter tier. Larger operation or need something custom? Get in touch.
Questions
Before you ask, the honest answers. Pricing, data retention and what happens if you leave — the questions people actually ask before signing up.
Does the 3D builder replace a scaffold designer?
No — and it does not claim to. It builds and documents configurations, checks them against the compliance sheet you select, and flags anything that falls outside a compliant configuration so it goes to a designer. Structures outside TG20 compliance still need a bespoke design from a competent person; ScaffoldOptix records that design against the structure rather than producing it.
Who owns the designs and records we put into ScaffoldOptix?
You do, outright — 3D models, drawings, handover certificates, inspection reports, operative records, everything. We process it strictly on your instructions to run the platform, never use it for our own purposes, and never sell it. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
How long do you keep our records?
For as long as your business needs them — ScaffoldOptix never automatically deletes records, and retention isn't tied to whether your subscription is active. Your company is the data controller and sets its own retention periods; inspection and handover records are commonly kept for the life of the contract plus the period your insurer and client contracts require, so check those rather than relying on a default.
Is ScaffoldOptix GDPR compliant?
ScaffoldOptix is built around UK GDPR principles — encryption in transit, role-based access control, and appropriate safeguards for where data is hosted. Your company is the data controller for operative records and remains responsible for its own compliance; we act as processor under a data processing agreement. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
You can export your records at any time while your account is active — designs, handover certificates, inspection reports and operative records, in a standard format. We'd encourage doing that before your subscription ends. See our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for the detail.
Can we cancel anytime?
Yes — cancel automatic renewal at any time before your renewal date and you won't be charged again. Because a Subscription Term gives full access from day one, fees already paid aren't refunded for cancelling partway through — see our Refund Policy for the full terms.
Is support included?
Yes, with an active license. Email support is included at no extra cost for as long as your subscription is active.
